Spontaneous Combustion:
Monthly Brooklyn Community Access Television broadcasts every 3rd Saturday at 2:30 PM. This
eclectic program with emerging artists of all disciplines and young videomakers was invented in 1984
and became a cable show in 1994.
This program is made possible in part by the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.
Laziza Electrique Dance Co
A network of performing artists under the artistic direction of Kathleen Laziza and technical direction
of William Laziza.
LED Co. began as the Laziza Videodance and Lumia Project . It has since
evolved to produce 20 original signature works that includes videoart and the invention of dozens low
tech special effect. NY Newsday has called the Laziza's "industrial strength artists".
They have been
actively collaborating with musicians, dancers,
videomakers, designers, technicians, and geeks since arriving in NYC in 1980.

Arts and Education:

examples of previous works include the "Schoolwide Simultaneous Dance" and "Electric Imprint".
Our specialties are movement arts, video technology and communication. Our projects naturally
include math, writing and creative comprehension. |
