LAZIZA ELECTRIQUE DANCE CO.

The performance based Laziza Electrique Dance Company teamed up with the musical based Ghosts of the Canal for a spontaneous improvisational dream in Technicolor. Featuring Jillian Raye.

The Laziza’s were selected to be Downtown Community Television’s First Cyberartists in Residence. The last 7 minutes of the 28 minute work was a live performance with an audience and performance was simultaneously broadcast over cable TV and as live streaming media over the internet. Their artful experiment includes images from Micro Museum being streamed into the DCTV facilities in Lower Manhattan that were included as part of the broadcast mix.

This art work took over 50 people 3 months to complete.
