Micro Museum is hosting six national artists in 2007 presentation series called SPECTRUM: THE CHAKRA: YELLOW.  This monthly color fest will feature predominant colors in a chakra series on the following dates in 2007 continuing with Yellow – JUNE 2 - 23; Green  - JULY 14 – 28; Blue - AUGUST 4 – 28; Indigo - SEPTEMBER 8 – 29; Violet - OCTOBER 6 – 27; Rainbow NOVEMBER 3 – DECEMBER 15. 

 

There will be a popular vote throughout the entire series where a single artist from each color category will be invited back in Nov/Dec for a special rainbow celebration on November 3 as a part of the 21st birthday party for the museum.   Come vote early and often!

 

Micro Museum is open year round for professional uses weekdays ---- there are over 600 clients who use the museumÕs performing arts practice rooms every year with 50 – 100 students/art lovers daily taking classes, learning about art via the founding directors: William and Kathleen Laziza or generally practicing/appreciating a wide variety of independent productions throughout the year.  MM¨ was selected by 110 professional teachers for a hands-on demonstration as a part of the International Montessori SocietyÕs 100 anniversary celebration as well as the University of Minnesota graduate art school will travel to NYC where Micro Museum will offer a 2 hour intensive featuring their interactive art collection.
