Micro Museum is hosting seven national artists in a new presentation series called SPECTRUM: THE CHAKRA. This monthly color fest will feature predominant colors in a chakra series on the following dates in 2007: Orange - MAY 5 – 26; Yellow - JUNE 2 – 23; Green - JULY 14 – 28; Blue - AUGUST 4 – 28; Indigo - SEPTEMBER 8 – 29; Violet - OCTOBER 6 – 27; Rainbow NOVEMBER 3 – DECEMBER 15.

Each month will feature a work of the Laziza Electrique Dance Company in “The Colorama Series” designed and directed by Kathleen Laziza, founding artist of Micro Museum (MM®) and performed by choreographer Patricia Hoffbauer. Plus guest musicians John La Macchia and Troy Young of Candiria will collaborate with William Laziza in a new videoart work - “Videoscopo” at 8 PM. Estern European and Classical Trained pianist will play the Lumiano at 7:30 and 8:30 PM.

Micro Museum is open for professional use weekdays by booking an appointment or to the general public on Saturdays for YELLOW exhibit from May 5 – 26 from 12 – 7 PM. $2 per person.

Festively, those who come dressed in YELLOW will receive a free gift! In addition there will be a popular vote throughout the entire series where a single artist from each color category will be invited back in Nov/Dec with a special rainbow celebration on November 3.
