Can You Believe it?

Since opening our doors in 1986 weÕve hosted wonderful art and performance events for hundreds of amazing artists but we found ourselves asking ÒWhere can we install our work to its fullest?Ó  and  ÒWhere did all our performative art go?Ó Slowly it dawned on us ÒWhy not host all Laziza at Micro Museum?Ó

For the next 3 years Micro Museum will be animated with a new multi-year program ABOVE & BEYOND, highlighting new + never before exhibited artworks by Laziza.  These include excerpts from a discovered Òtreasure troveÓ - a forgotten suitcase with journals, performance scores, poetry, drawings etcÉ1970 – 1990.  Visitors will experience an assortment of interactive, wearable, performance and small kazari-based artworks, videos, photographs, paintings, drawings, poetry, sculptures, and conceptualizing ideas.

Significantly 2010 - 2012 are markers because this year William and Kathleen party on with 30 years of vows, William was born 60 years ago, Micro Museum becomes 25 years in 2011 and Micro Museum opened the ground floor galleries for 10 years in 2012.  Here is the full retrospective schedule below.
