Can
You Believe it?
Since
opening our doors in 1986 weÕve hosted wonderful art and performance events for
hundreds of amazing artists but we found ourselves asking ÒWhere can we install
our work to its fullest?Ó and ÒWhere did all our performative art
go?Ó Slowly it dawned on us ÒWhy not host all Laziza at Micro Museum?Ó
For
the next 3 years Micro Museum will be animated with a new multi-year program
ABOVE & BEYOND, highlighting new + never before exhibited artworks by
Laziza. These include excerpts
from a discovered Òtreasure troveÓ - a forgotten suitcase with journals,
performance scores, poetry, drawings etcÉ1970 – 1990. Visitors will experience an assortment
of interactive, wearable, performance and small kazari-based artworks, videos,
photographs, paintings, drawings, poetry, sculptures, and conceptualizing
ideas.
Significantly
