Micro Museum is inaugurating a new soapbox stage for music, literary readings, solo acts, rants and raves with a kick-off musical event on June 4 from 6 – 8 PM featuring the original music of John La Macchia, Fredrix and Cohen. Admission is by donation and will also be a part of the famed ATLANTIC ART WALK starting at 12 noon.

Micro Museum is a legendary art center that has hosted thousands of media, performing and visual artists in its long history on Smith Street. Cohen, La Macchia and Fredrix have performed at the museum before and describe the diverse flav’r of Micro Museum’s heritage.

Currently the art on exhibit is from Micro Museum’s founding artist’s collection. Kathleen and William Laziza are exhibiting their extensive interdisciplinary work in a multi-year program called ABOVE & BEYOND. Art exhibits are open Saturdays from 12 – 7 PM.
