Micro Museum is inaugurating a new soapbox stage for
music, literary readings, solo acts, rants and raves with a kick-off musical
event on June 18 from 6 - 7 PM featuring the original music by paulina judith
hoffmann. Admission is by
donation.
Micro Museum is a legendary art center that has hosted
thousands of media, performing and visual artists in its long history on Smith
Street. Direct from Berlin Ms. hoffmann highlights moody melancholy music of
guitar and voice at the museum for a set at dusk. Her work represents the diverse flavÕr of Micro MuseumÕs
heritage.
Currently the art on exhibit is from Micro MuseumÕs
founding artistÕs collection.
Kathleen and William Laziza are exhibiting their extensive
interdisciplinary work in a multi-year program called ABOVE & BEYOND. Art exhibits are open Saturdays from 12
– 7 PM.
