Mikella Millen is a mixed media artist living and work in New York City. Working with paper, mostly recycled or reused, she shows environments as they are, were, and could be. The highly rendered collage, drawings, and prints depict the natural world and today's ever-growing technological expansion. The work concentrates on the theme of displacement while drawing upon her personal relationship to wildlife as it pertains to her cultural and spiritual Native American upbringing.
