Invalid TV is a statement about technology that provides a parallel view of human and equipment lifetimes. Wheelchairs are used to symbolize human aging and how our usefulness to society and each other diminishes over time so that we end up as observers of life through our cracked lens. Discarded technology creates the cracked lens by using video equipment to simulate parallel consciousness. The magical thing about Invalid TV is that it can be set up to generate alluring geometric video designs that can be manipulated by lasers and magnets by the viewer.

Phone-i-ture is a comfortable wired love seat that includes two telephones that are connected so that as soon as one is picked up, the other rings. Viewers can sit next to each other on the couch and have an intimate conversation over the phone. The phones are also connected to…

3d TV. This television has a true 3D view of a sculpture made of colored plastic shapes which have lights inside them that are able to be turned on and off through the keypad of the telephones on Phone-i-ture. The lights light up as the numbers are dialed. By playing with the keypads one can make the sculpture light up!

Chromophone is an instrument. Large Chrome shapes are hung in such a way that their vibrations are amplified and fed to speakers and an oscilloscope. The vibrations modulate the x and y-axis of the scope to show how they interact by sending the beam into complex shapes as each note is struck.

The Videograph is a machine for generating complex fractal shapes. The base includes a monitor that can be rotated to create an endless variation of intricate shapes. In addition various items can be added into the mix by placing them on the monitor or waving them through the active space. The installation also includes a video mixer that can superimpose the images from the Chromaphone onto the Fractals so that the images interact in new ways.

Cronus Key is also called the weather producing lamp as the mood in the room changes as the colors move over the light simulating changes in the weather. Other highlights include a variety of paintings and smaller sculptures that range from decorative to amusing and thought provoking. They are distributed around the VIP room and help to contribute to the comfort of the environment.
