National THANK YOU to our Armed Forces

Micro Museum will take part in a National Endowment
for the Arts program called BLUE STAR Museums where Active US Military
Personnel gets the opportunity to attend our exhibits for free every Saturday
from 12 – 7 PM. It is our
way of saying THANK YOU to the defenders of our national interests and that we
want them all back home soon!
In the meanwhile we are welcoming them to explore art and cultural
experiences in Brooklyn from Memorial Day to Labor Day. General admission is
$2 per person.
Kathleen and William Laziza, founders of the living
art center, Micro Museum is entering a new phase of their unique artistic
expression in an inaugural program called ABOVE & BEYOND. This summer they will be showing 6
premiere paintings that bridge their 30 plus years of collaboration. In addition to several interactive
installations where visitors control aspects of the image or sound, Kathleen will
play an informal performance art game called ÒASK HER ANYTHINGÓ where visitors
have the option to write a question and she will pontificate for 30 seconds to
3 minutes with deliberate candor.
Every Saturday will features video screenings of Micro MuseumÕs long
running SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION series
