For a few summers I was sent away to Summer Camp in New Hampshire. The camp was called Idlewild and it was on Lake Winnepasaque in New Hampshire.
Initially my parents traded room an board with a recruiter for us to have the benefit of the summer camp. As we got older, we were enlisted in various activities to assist in the management of the camp. I became a waiter and I waited on the head table of the camp administrators.
